The David Mellor Lily Fountain installed at the end of the Main Walk (above).  The Ecological Mound planted with British Wild Plants (above).  Below are views of the Chronological Beds in the 1960s as they began to settle into their original plantings in the eastern Garden. The Chronological Border was moved to its present position in 1977.
